My August 2018 In Pictures - Holiday Highlights.

The third batch of photos - my holiday highlights. Click on the link below to take a look at a few more pictures:-

The picture at the top shows a beautiful Lion's Mane jellyfish & its prey, on Sunday 12th August 2018, at 10:33, Kristiansand, Norway. This one looked about 30cm (1ft) in diameter, but they're the largest known species and can grow to a massive 2metres in dia (6.5ft), with sticky stinging tentacles of 37m long (121ft)!

My August 2018 In Pictures - The Red Arrows & The Three Queens.

My second batch of photos - these highlighting the Red Arrows & the three Cunard Queens (RMS Queen Mary 2, MS Queen Victoria, & MS Queen Elizabeth). The three queens arrived in the Port of Southampton early morning, quite a rare event to see them together, and as they sailed away into the Solent that afternoon, the Red Arrows flew overhead and put on an astonishing display. Click on the link below to see more pictures:-

The picture at the top shows the Red Arrows, at 19:45 on Friday 10th August 2018, above the Solent, Hampshire.
