My New Wet Weather Shoes - Tracey Neuls.

When this hot spell ends, it's sure to rain again and I'll be ready with my new wet weather shoes from Tracey Neuls, Marylebone Lane, London W1. My favourite shoe shop. My kind of shoe. AND they have a reflective tab at the back to light up when I'm on my bicycle! How could I resist?

The picture at the top shows my new Tracey Neuls wet weather shoes, Geek Derby Black Tarmac (described by the London Design Museum as 'a beautiful shoe for an active life'), photographed in sumptuous black & white, at home in Hythe, Hampshire, at 12:28 on Thursday 21st July 2016.

My June 2016 In Pictures - Lost and Found.

A lost ball is photographed and turns into a Jeff Koons sculpture!

The Jeff Koons 1985 sculpture 'One Ball Total Equilibrium Tank' sold for $15,285,000 (that's fifteen million, two hundred and eighty five thousand dollars!!) in May 2016, at Christie's New York 'Bound to Fail' themed sale, curated by the irrepressible contemporary art specialist Loïc Gouzer.

My New Tracey Neuls Shoes.

My idea of a summer shoe.  A gift to myself last Wednesday, as just recompense for a two-and-a-half hour dental appointment!  I confess to being slightly Liz Lemon about my feet ("I'll have you know that I wore sandals this summer... over socks... in a dream"), but that's another story...

The pictures show my new Tracey Neuls shoes, at home in Hythe, Hampshire, on Saturday 18th June 2016 at 20:20, lit by the setting sun (which accounts for the almost sepia tint).
