There were spectacular fireworks over Southampton Water yesterday evening as MS Queen Victoria set sail for Bermuda, the first stop on her 2017 Round the World Voyage - 120 nights, 34 ports, 17 countries.
If you fancy three months at sea, there's still time to grab a cabin on a queen for a Round the World trip this year - MS Queen Elizabeth sets off on 7th January and RMS Queen Mary 2 on 10th January. Oh, and the price tag - £13,000 for a standard inside cabin, or £117,000 for a grand suite - per person, of course. But don't forget the fireworks.
